For February 1998
Effective February 5, 1998, Warner Home Video officially recalled their Little Shop of Horrors Special Edition DVD. At this time, Warner has given no official reason for this recall.
Although we have been unable to verify the reasoning behind the recall with Warner directly, sources state that the recall is due to the inclusion of black & white workprint footage featuring the film's original "plants take over the country" ending. We'll provide you with more information as it becomes available.
